What is SafeCharge™ Technology?

Volthium’s patented SafeCharge™ technology allows this lithium battery to work with existing lead-acid charging systems when paired with the Volthium SafeCharge current limiter. This helps protect the alternator while simplifying installation by eliminating the need for a DC-DC charger in many applications.

Using the Volthium mobile app, installers can configure charging thresholds and current limits directly from their smartphone. This allows the system to regulate charging current automatically, helping protect both the alternator and battery while maintaining reliable charging performance.

SafeCharge™ technology also helps retain factory boost/combine functions commonly found in RV and marine electrical systems and supports installations requiring both starting and deep cycle capability from a single battery bank.

Easy Installation

Designed for easier installation, the Volthium PRO Series 2 battery can often be installed without major wiring modifications when used with the SafeCharge current limiter. This helps reduce installation complexity and installation time for RV, marine, and commercial vehicle applications.
