Important Information for Vintage Cameras

Some vintage cameras and exposure meters were designed for discontinued 1.35V mercury batteries identified as PX625, MR9, or V13PX. The GP PX625A has the same general shape but provides 1.5V using alkaline chemistry. This voltage difference may affect the accuracy of voltage-sensitive camera meters.

The MRB625 is a 1.35V zinc-air battery designed as an alternative to the original mercury battery and is not chemically identical to this PX625A. Check the device manual or confirm compatibility before changing battery voltage or chemistry.
