Frequently Asked Questions
Is this battery available for shipping?
Due to its size and weight, this battery is typically available for in-store pickup. Local delivery may be available within the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. Contact us with your location to confirm availability and delivery options.
How do I make a 48V battery system using 8V batteries?
To build a 48 Volt system, you need six (6) × 8V batteries connected in series.
Connect the batteries as follows:
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of the first battery to the negative (–) terminal of the next battery
- Repeat this pattern across all six batteries
The remaining open terminals (one positive and one negative) connect to your golf cart.
This series connection increases the voltage to 48V while keeping the amp hour (Ah) capacity the same.
