Rechargeable batteries are the best battery to use in high drain devices.  A high drain device is anything that discharges a battery in a few hours such as gaming consoles,  digital cameras, wireless microphones,  and remote control toys.

Rechargeable batteries are also a great choice to use in lower drain devices such as remote controls, clocks, a mouse, etc.  They last up to 4 times longer than single use, alkaline batteries.  This not only saves you money, it also reduces the amount of disposable batteries in our landfills.
